Zipadelli Wins, Karter Beattie Two Top Fives at Millbridge
SALISBURY, N.C. -- Rocco Zipadelli scored a huge win for us in the last Saturday Jr. Wing Race at Millbridge Speedway, and Karter Beattie had a second-place finish on Wednesday in Winged Micro and a strong fourth-place Non-Wing Micro finish on Saturday as the KBR/SKE team transitioned from April to May with some tremendous success.
Aspen Kendall also won the Cadet B-Main on Saturday to add to the team's smiles.
In Wednesday's action, Karter continued his forward progress, finishing eighth in the Non-Wing Micro and had a fantastic run in Winged Micro, coming across the line in second.
Here's his post-race interview from Wednesday...
Other noteables on Wednesday were Kylea Beattie placing seventh in Jr. Wing, Emily Dietrich with an eighth-place run in R-Micro, and Jeff Potocnak coming home sixth in the Buggy Class.
Saturday Program
Zipadelli's win was the cherry on top of a strong performance day where results don't tell the entire story. Karter scored his second top-five finish of the week, taking fourth in the Non-Wing Micro main. "Handsome" Harry Stallard finished 12th.

Aspen Kendall's Cadet B-Main win was a fun moment for the team, as it's always a joy to see the younger racers take a checkered flag. Leo Zipadelli also drove a nice, clean race to earn fifth in the Beginner Box Stock main.
Emily did a nice job in the Intermediate feature, finishing fourth, two spots ahead of Kylea, who wound up sixth. Emily also scored a fifth-place finish in R-Micro, while Kylea Beattie had a mechanical issue in Box Stock, relegating a fast car to 14th, not of her own doing.
Millbridge action resumes on Wednesday, May 13th, for the first of three straight weeks of action to round out the Month of May. On-track action begins at 6:30 pm, and will be streamed live as always on DirtVision.
