SALISBURY, N.C. -- Emily Dietrich, Coen McDaniel, and Payton Johnson led the extended KBR/SKE family of drivers in Millbridge Speedway action last week with wins and podiums, while Kylea Beattie continued to add top-five finishes to her 2026 resume, Karter Beattie had a top five, and we had a Hurricane from the North drop in to compete with us as well. 

On Tuesday, Kylea "Speedy" Beattie finished fifth in Jr. Wing action and ninth in her Box Stock B-Main to start the week. She added two more fifth-place finishes in SKE Intermediate Wednesday and Saturday action to continue her streak of finishing in the top five in over half of her starts in 2026.  

Wednesday night saw Emily Dietrich win her first spring/summer feature (third overall) in SKE Intermediate action.  She also had a fifth in R-Micro on both Wednesday and Saturday, and was third in SKE Intermediate on Saturday for a spectacular weekend of racing. 

Coen McDaniel was hotter than the sunshine on a mid-July day on Wednesday, winning the Open Outlaw division and finishing third in Winged Micro.  

Payton Johnson was also dialed in, grabbing top honors in Winged Micro and finishing second in the Open division to McDaniel.  

"Katfish" Karter Beattie finished fifth in Winged Micro on Wednesday and eighth in the Open division, but on Saturday, lady luck abandoned him, and mechanical issues in both Non-Wing and SKE Intermediate feature racing led to DNF's.  Karter spoke with Tom Baker after the races were over. Here's his post-race conversation...

 

We had 13-year-old "Canadian Hurricane" Austin Seburn back with us on Saturday for the first time in 2026, and it was also his first racing action of the season.  Austin finished tenth in R-Micro in his season debut, and we look forward to seeing more of him throughout the year when he's not racing in the Northeast and Canada.

"Handsome" Harry Stallard made the trip once again from Kentucky to join us for Saturday Micro action.  He came through the B-Main (finished third) and fought heavy traffic all race long in the A-Main to finish 14th.   

Millbridge Speedway returns to action Tuesday, April 28th, and Wednesday, April 29th.  On-track action at 6:15 pm Eastern and full live coverage on DirtVision.com.  Then, on Saturday, May 2nd, action continues at the track with a 5:15 starting time, also on DirtVision.com.
