Shawnee, Oklahoma — (January 22, 2026) — Karter "Katfish" Beattie started his 2026 racing season off with plenty of speed but little luck at the Tulsa Shootout in his Micro Sprint. Just over a week later, he traveled back to Oklahoma, but this time stopped off at Heart of Oklahoma Speedway to compete in the Manufacturer's Throwdown for Outlaw Karts.  

He missed the "A" main on Friday but rebounded to finish third on Saturday.  It was a nice rebound and gives him a bit of momentum heading into the season.  Younger sister Kylea Beattie had a strong fourth-place finish in Friday's Caged Jr. 3 Clone feature and finished 11th on Saturday. 

Emeryn Fenton drove to a fifth-place finish on Saturday in Caged Jr. 1 Clone as well.     

With the harsh weather that the Charlotte area is experiencing, the "home team" has a bit of a break to catch up on sleep and prepare multiple cars for action over the next two months. 

Lee "LJ" Jordan has once again entered the Showdown Series and the INEX Winternationals Series, back-to-back weeks of Legend Car racing at Auburndale Speedway in Auburndale, Florida, which takes place as Florida Speedweeks kicks off in the first two weeks of February.  Don't be surprised if you see Karter in action with a Legend car there as well, and there may be other customers.  

Millbridge Speedway returns to action on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 10th and 11th, beginning another March to November run of racing on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at the famous 1/6-mile track in Salisbury, North Carolina.  

The KBR/SKE group is also fielding a Pro Late Model for "Lightning" London McKenzie on the CARS Tour for 2026, and has a second car available for rental.  

Jordan will be among the Legend Car racers in the "family" of drivers at the Cookout Summer Shootout this summer at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
