SALISBURY, N.C. -- Wednesday night's Millbridge Speedway Micro Sprint and Outlaw Kart action was competitive for Kyle Beattie Racing / SKE Chassis, with "Lightning" London McKenzie, Payton Johnson, and Tanner Tucker all grabbing podium finishes, and "Katfish" Karter Beattie charging from 16th to 9th in his Winged Micro main among the highlights for the team. 

McKenzie won his heat and the Dash in Non-Wing, and drove a determined feature race, but Aiden Turner must have had an extra bowl of Cheerios for breakfast because he was simply untouchable.  Biscuit Williams returned to the track for the first time in a while. He and McKenzie raced hard for second and third and finished in that order.  



Tucker had a second in SKE Intermediate and a hard-fought seventh in Winged Micro action. He continues to improve each time he's in the car, as his confidence grows.  He's come a long way in 2025.  

Johnson ran strong in the Open Outlaw division with his SKE-built, Dillon Latour-prepared kart No. 57, finishing third.  He got caught in an early incident in the Winged Micro main event and finished 17th.  

As for Karter Beattie, lady luck finally smiled upon him, and he had a funny little turn of events to go with it.  In his Winged Micro, he started P16, but worked his way steadily through the field with determination.  He ended up ninth, a case of the result not telling the whole story.  He entered the Open Outlaw race, but not for SKE Chassis! 

Karsyn Elledge, a QRC Chassis house driver for her father, Jimmy, has filled in for KBR/SKE twice in Karter's Winged Micro when Karter was injured early in the year.  She actually had a win in the No. 7, pumping some entertainment into the friendly rivalry.  So, with Karsyn not at the track due to another commitment, it was "Katfish" who stepped up to fill in for her in the QRC No. 3 as a teammate to Kennedy Elledge, and the pair staged a terrific battle throughout the race for fourth and fifth, with Karter coming home fifth at the checkered.  



Nate Meendering was running in Non-Wing on Wednesday, but he also got caught up in one of the many incidents in the feature and finished 20th.  

Emily Dietrich had a pair of top-five finishes, one in Intermediate and the other in the R-Micro division. 

Brayden Mussetter finished eighth in the Open Outlaw feature event.

Coen McDaniel rocked a top-five finish in Winged Micro.

The Saturday KBR/SKE team will be in action at Millbridge Speedway on October 4th, with on-track action starting at 5:30 pm.  Come out and cheer us on or catch the live action on DirtVision.
